Job: Self Employed Dog Groomer
Description:
Looking to start out on your own? Join the Dog Days family on a self employed basis. Our fully equip groom room offers the luxury of growing your own business without the financial outlay.
Responsibilities:
– Groom pets according to client specifications and breed standards
– Bathe, brush, and trim
– Perform nail trims and ear cleaning
– Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during grooming procedures
– Maintain a clean and organised grooming area
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Skills:
– Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and handle pets of various sizes and weights
– Animal care: Knowledge of different breeds, their specific grooming needs, and behaviour traits
– Veterinary: Basic understanding of pet health, common ailments, and how to identify potential issues
– Customer service: Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and provide a positive experience
Note: Prior experience as a professional pet groomer is required. This is a self employed position and an opportunity for you to grow your own business alongside the support of Dog Days.
